Mary Jane Graham (Tipton), age 84, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania.
Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Mary was one of four siblings, two of whom preceded her in death. She was a caring and compassionate woman who always placed the needs of others above her own. Mary graduated from Altoona High School and continued her education at Hagerstown Medical Secretarial School, where she earned her degree in Medical Secretarial Studies.
Following the completion of her education, Mary moved to Delaware, where she married the late Charles Graham. She was a loving mother to her two children and a devoted grandmother who cherished her grandchildren.
Mary enjoyed hosting tea parties and taking trips with her loved ones. When she was not spending time with her family, she was a dedicated member of Marshallton United Methodist Church and an active participant at the Weston Senior Center. For several years, Mary delighted in dressing up as the beloved “Miss Pick-a-Pocket” at the church bazaar, bringing joy and laughter to those around her.
Mary will be lovingly remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Her memory will forever be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 12:00 noon at All Saints Cemetery, located at 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware 19808. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Mary’s life.
