Karen A. Colletta, age 77, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Karen received her education at Stanton Junior High School and graduated from John Dickinson High School in 1967.
Throughout her working years, Karen was employed by the Blood Bank of Delaware and Happy Harry’s Pharmacy as a 3rd level pharmacy technician.
In her spare time, Karen enjoyed growing African violets and took an interest in cultivating different varieties of these beautiful flowers.
Karen is survived by her husband. Charles Colletta; her brother-in-law. Joseph Colletta; and Melissa Phillips.
A visitation will be held on Thursday. October 29, 2026, from 12-1 PM at McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808 followed by a service in celebration of Karen’s life at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
