William S. Nickerson, age 79, died Monday, August 31, 2026, at Freedom Village Retirement Community after a lengthy battle with diabetes complications.
Originally from Wilmington, DE, he attended Brandywine High School and the University of Delaware. He is survived by his brother David Nickerson, sister Fay E. Sweeney, and three nieces and two nephews. Interment will be private.
