It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Irma Jean McMinn (Irmie), on July 24, 2026, at the age of 79 years. She was a cherished big sister, a beloved daughter, a dedicated mother and aunt, as well as a steadfast friend. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her. Even her caretakers of nurses and aides at ChristianaCare Wilmington, and Christiana nicknamed her ‘Angel’. Her generosity, compassion, and bright spirit will never be forgotten.
Predeceased by her son, Jason Scott McMinn, and our brother, John L. McMinn, she is survived by her five siblings, Diane, Nancy, Janis, Harry (& Linda), and Robert (& Liliana), many nieces and nephews and dear friends, whose memories will be shared and held close forever.
