Candace “Candy” Cruikshank passed away after a short illness on March 3, 2026.
A resident of Claymont, Delaware, she was born in Miami, Florida, to William H. Cruikshank and the late Kathryn (née Glennon) Cruikshank. Candy was especially devoted to her mother and took loving care of her in her senior years.
Candy attended Claymont High School and graduated from Del Tech. She was employed at Target Corporation, where she was a valued employee and developed many friendships.
Candy enjoyed playing the guitar, spending time in nature, and being with her beloved cat, Trinity.
Candy is survived by her father, William H. Cruikshank, and his partner, Doris Lilley; her aunt and godmother, Kay Dougherty (George); her uncle, David Cruikshank (Laurie); and, of course, Trinity.
Services will be private.
