Alice F. Cale, age 92, of Wilmington, DE passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 24th, 2026, at her son’s home in Tampa, FL. She was born in Wilmington, DE in 1933 to the late Franklin B. Anderson and Thelma K. Anderson. She was a graduate of Conrad Hs. in 1951. She worked as a telephone operator, worked at The Winterthur Museum, was a secretary for Coca-Cola of Wilmington, was a 911 operator, and worked in the sanitary sewer department for New Castle County. She retired from New Castle County, DE in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Lee; and daughter, Tamra J. (Cale) Sapp.
Alice is survived by her son, Robert L. Cale of Tampa, FL; daughter, Beverlea A. Cale of Wilmington, DE; sister, Tylethea Brittingham of Manning, SC; brother, John E. Anderson of Avondale, PA; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
