April Ann Schafer Baynum, 84, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 14th, 2025 at her home. April was a graduate of Rehoboth High School and worked as a homemaker, creating a family legacy of warmth and love.
April enjoyed going antiquing, took an interest in dog-breeding and swimming; her greatest joy being a grandmother to her four granddaughters.
She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald J. Baynum Sr. She is survived by her 3 children: Tiffany, Cristal and RJ; 4 granddaughters: Mercedes, Tatiana, Meriana and Thalia; and 2 great grandchildren: Ezekiel and Delilah.
A committal service will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
