Ronald J. Bender, 70, passed away on July 13, 2025 in Wilmington, DE.
Born on August 6, 1954, Ronald lived a full life marked by enduring family connections and deep roots in both Delaware and Florida. He was the beloved husband of Lynn Wheatley and the devoted son of Dolores Kuntzman of Florida. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bender Sr.
He is also remembered by his stepson, Jeffrey Wheatley Jr. of Bronx, NY; his brother Joseph Bender Jr. of Wilmington; and siblings Tom, Lisa, and Chris of Florida. His presence will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday August 14 at 11am at Corpus Christi Church, 905 New Rd, Wilmington 19805. Burial will be private.
